We deliver school and professional level Dance workshops. Working with various themes; workshops develop and challenge physicality, creativity, musicality and technique.
Using specific phrases, themes and creative tasks from a show, participants will develop an understanding of developing themes, dance, movement techniques and choreographic tasks. Participants can develop skills, learn dances, create and perform using our choreographic repertoire.
We deliver taster workshops for specific repertoire or dance styles.
We run development days and retreats to help practitioners and organisations develop skills to better serve and engage vulnerable people using movement and creativity.
We use spontaneous and choreographed rhythms of the body. Sometimes guided by strong drumming and Caribbean – Jazz rhythms and sometimes sporadic sounds and instruments but always with personal expression. We are heavily influenced by Contemporary Dance that have derived from Cunningham, Graham, Gaga and Horton. We teach young people the background of the techniques and how we apply it in our everyday culture.
