Choreography and Creative Projects

Our choreography work includes commissions for Will Alsop; sterling prize winning Peckham Library, Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Arts Gallery as part of Billingham international Folklore Festival, the Guildhall in Leicester for Serendipity’s ‘Hidden Movement’ book launch, London Bridge Park in conjunction with Heidi Luker for a sculpture collaboration, Wired Video for the production of an animation film short, the Glee Club comedy venue for a multi art night, Bill Laurence Jazz Musician for digital short, Sheffield Oratorio Chorus for a choral production, City Of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Ex Cathedra for African Sanctus, Birmingham Museums Science Museum Think Tank for Balance amongst many others.

Runaways (2025)

‘Runaways’ is a journey through time from the fearful, shackled footsteps of our ancestors to a liberated future.

Balance (2024) 

Witness dancers as they morph into the microscopic marvels of immune cells. Balance’ is more than just a show; it is a quest for Balance, an exploration of resilience, renewal, and the interconnectedness of all living things.

She – Dance Film Trailer (2024) 

Inspired by an Afro Jazz sound score, Harriet Tubman from the band Sons of Kemet, She is a dance film about strength and love that together encompass the experience of being a woman.

Bot Girl Gone – Dance Film Trailer (2023)

Based on real life experiences of dehumanisation caused by digital extraction, Bot Girl Gone explores a response to reality, illusions and money through feelings of fear and power.

Balance – Research and Development (2023)

A short film documentary of the work in progress event ‘Balance’. Inspired by themes of regeneration using cell biology.

African Sanctus (2018 & 2022)

Excerpt of ‘Cattles Songs’ from David Fanshawe’s ‘African Sanctus’ – Songs of Faith. First in collaboration with Sheffield Oratorio Chorus and then Ex-Cathedra and CBSO So Vocal, Symphony Hall, Birmingham.

Sensation – A Dance, Science, Digital experiment (2021)

As part of an ongoing collaboration with Microbiologist, this work depicts the energy of an embryo cell and immerses us into creation.

Coleridge Unbound, State Of Emergency Company (2021)

Dance improvisation of a letter from my ancestors based on Coleridge’s abolishment of slavery.

George Floyd Memorial Dance Film (2020)

Lets act on racism, unconscious bias and slavery to find a common humanity.

HAL (2019)

In collaboration with Jazz Bill Laurence. ‘HAL’ from ‘Cables’ album. This work looks at the man becoming the machine.

High I’m (2018)

Looks at a psycho – the spiritual recovery from the trauma of addiction.

Apple Tree Art Live (2016)

A Keneish Dance curated multi-form Art night in collaboration with Glee Club.

Tabula Rasa (2014)

Imagines the universe and life from a blank slate. Through connection we gain knowledge and understanding.

A quirky, touching and refreshing meditation on modern life and relationships.

Tit 4 Tat (2009) – Plays on how our natural ability to communicate can be a dance language itself.

All Seeing (2011) – A sculpture of an owl and its history. Inspired by Albert Manvuras (a Shona, Zimbawean sculptor).
