Opportunities for advanced and professional level dancers

Audition to be a dancer with Keneish Dance 

We are currently looking for strong dancers to embark on an R&D phase and performances between 31st July – 20th September (3 – 4 weeks in total) and as part of Keneish Dances production in the spring and summer of 2018. If you are interested and available for ALL dates, are professionally trained in Contemporary and African – Caribbean derived dance styles (traditional – street) please attend our

Open audition:

Saturday 22nd July at 1pm – 6pm & Sunday 23rd July at 11am – 6pm (must attend both days, late comers are not permitted)

All projects are paid.

Professional Classes as part of Birmingham Dance Network

If you are a professional dancer or 2/3rd year dance student then this is the class for you. So if you are having a bit of a break or have finished university for the summer, then feel free to come along!

The sessions will have an emphasis on groundedness, isolations, full torso movements, use of rhythm, pulse and individual expression.

There’s no need to book, just turn up.

Open morning classes 

These classes are suitable for students at advanced and professional levels. The classes will  incorporate Horton, Graham and African Contemporary Dance techniques.
