‘High’

High trailer : https://youtu.be/cQWP_mdM-VI

An invigorating and stirring dance production exposing an intimate health story.

Through a rich combination of African, Contemporary and Jazz, set against a pulse driven, sound score, Keisha Grant in collaboration with musician – Reuben Reynolds, Writer – Adrian Reynolds and dancers, delves into the world of post-addiction. In Keneish Dance’s newest work you are invited to experience a story based on a spiritual recovery from the trauma of addiction.

When a young woman is brought back into her past of childhood memories, she is torn between two parts of herself. We watch as a state of denial and blame force her to a place where her memories try to take over.

“High is about real people, real thoughts and real emotions that aren’t normally discussed openly.” – Keisha Grant, Artistic Director

Duration: 60 minutes
